History 25th Anniversary 1997

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, folk dance group Orient performed for a full theatre Agnietenhof in Tiel. The group practiced for the event for months, which certainly paid off. Among the performers were all the children's groups, the presentation group and dance group Shilshoel from Hoogstraten. Balkan ensemble Vranje was present to play their music.

The dancers, dance instructors and musicians all very much enjoyed the successful performance. This night wouldn't have been possible without the help of the many volunteers who prepared the lighting, perfected the presentation and created the costumes.

Orient can look back on a very successful anniversary year, with numerous wonderful activities such as the workshops in February, the reunion, and the folk dance bal April 19 last.
